I work on the principle that I would not recommend anything to a client that I would not be comfortable to recommend to a friend or family. Using this basic guide I believe is a simple but effective principle in maintaining strong professional ethics. I am able to offer independent advice on personal financial planning with the aim of protecting you and your family and preserving and growing your personal wealth. This would include pensions and retirement planning, tax planning, investment management, life and serious illness protection. I enjoy the face to face contact and satisfaction of advising individual clients. To do this as the financial advice sector evolves to an increasingly professional level represents an exciting time to be able to provide advice.
Outside of the office I try to keep active and preferably outdoors, particularly anything involving water. I have kayaked all over the UK and Europe. These days I am more likely to be sailing my racing dinghy or playing the dynamic sport of Canoe Polo. Further information is at the club site www.avoncanoepolo.com. I also enjoy skiing, reading and spending time with my family. My wife is a Primary School Teacher and we live in Somerset with our two young sons aged 4 and 5.
